Delivery is not available for every product—please contact us to confirm availability. If your community isn’t listed, feel free to ask; we may still be able to help.
Pricing may vary due to availability, seasonality, and market conditions, and is subject to change without notice. All pricing and payment are in U.S. dollars.
Because our products are perishable and often cut-to-order, all sales are final once an order is placed. Hive & Petal may cancel or provide substitution options on an order in rare cases involving loss, damage, or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather events).
Because our products are perishable and often cut-to-order, Hive & Petal does not offer refunds or returns once an order is placed.
If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours with your order number and photos. Validated claims will receive a replacement or store credit, depending on product availability.
Event tickets, workshops, CSA shares, and private bookings are non-refundable, but may be eligible for rescheduling or credit when allowed by the event or service policy.
As a seasonal flower farm, availability varies throughout the year and may be affected by weather and growing conditions. If substitutions are needed, we will communicate any changes before delivery whenever possible.
To ensure accurate ordering and invoicing, B2B customers must be set up in our system prior to purchasing. Please contact us to begin the account setup process.
Registered B2B customers receive product availability updates and personalized quotes. Once a quote is approved, the order becomes final and scheduled for delivery or pickup. Orders will not be delivered or scheduled if previous balances remain unpaid.
We accept:
Fees may be added for the use of credit card, Paypal and Venmo. Returned checks incur a $50 fee and may result in COD-only status.
B2B customers may request Net 15 terms during account setup. A credit card authorization on file is required. Accounts with overdue balances may be moved to COD or closed.
Pre-orders may be placed to secure seasonal products. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation, calculated as a percentage of the total order.
A valid Iowa Resale Tax Certificate 31-014 must be kept on file to waive sales tax. Without this certificate, sales tax will be applied.
Products purchased through our online shop are confirmed at checkout. All online orders are considered final. Delivery or pickup is scheduled only after payment is received.
Customers may use any payment option available at checkout (including credit cards and PayPal). Products cannot be reserved without payment.
We collect Iowa Sales Tax as outlined by state policies. Sales tax is automatically applied to taxable products in the cart.
CSA shares are s a prepaid and non-refundable. They can be ordered as a Subscription CSA through our Flower Market. Payment confirms your membership for the season.
We communicate with Subscription CSA members primarily by email. Updates—including weekly share details, reminders, schedule adjustments, and delivery or pickup information—are sent directly to the email address provided at sign-up.
Members are responsible for ensuring their contact information is current and for checking email regularly during the season.
CSA shares follow a set pickup or delivery schedule throughout the season, and this schedule is communicated through our exclusive CSA email newsletters.
We request 48 hours’ notice for any scheduling changes. While we do our best, adjustments are not guaranteed and depend on availability.
Missed pickups are forfeited unless prior arrangements have been mutually agreed upon in advance.
All events and workshops must be paid in full at the time of registration. Because event spaces are limited and materials are prepared in advance, all ticket sales are final once purchased.
Tickets are non-refundable. Guests may request a one-time reschedule if the request is made at least 48 hours before the event, subject to availability.
No-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
Events may take place indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. In cases of severe or unsafe weather conditions, Hive & Petal may reschedule the event or move it indoors when possible. If an event must be canceled by the farm, guests will receive the option to reschedule or receive a credit.
Private workshops, farm tours, bouquet bars, and custom events require advance reservation and may have minimum group sizes or booking fees. Once a private booking is confirmed, it is considered final due to custom preparation and staffing.
Guests are welcome to take personal photos during events unless otherwise noted. Professional photography or styled shoots must be booked separately.
Guests are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes early. All participants are responsible for following farm safety guidelines and respecting designated event areas. Hive & Petal reserves the right to decline participation to anyone who may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
Event updates, reminders, and important information (including directions, preparation notes, and weather-related updates) are sent via email to the address provided during registration. Guests are responsible for ensuring their email information is accurate and for checking email in the days leading up to the event.
Hive & Petal strives to make our events welcoming and accessible. Portions of the farm include uneven ground, grass or gravel pathways, and outdoor areas that may affect mobility. If you or a member of your group requires accommodations, please contact us prior to your event so we can assist with planning and ensure the best possible experience.
