Our flowers are cultivated with meticulous care, employing organic-inspired practices to uphold environmental responsibility and deliver top-tier quality. Flowers not meeting our stringent quality standards are repurposed as sustenance for our on-site beehives and local pollinators, minimizing field waste. Waste is a pressing issue in the floral industry, marked by excessive plastic packaging, over 50% of purchased flowers being discarded unused, and more than 70% of fresh flowers imported into the US from international locations. We offer a local alternative: flowers grown just down the road from your business, grown and packaged sustainably.

Environmental sustainability guides our practices. We prioritize responsible resource management by reusing and recycling materials, locally sourcing when possible, minimizing single-use plastics, and avoiding harmful pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. We're committed to protecting habitat and biodiversity, and reducing production waste through lean manufacturing principles.

 We proudly provide sustainably grown fresh and dried flowers and foliage to local floral and event businesses in Central IA through our B2B portal. For retail customers, we occasionally offer CSA subscriptions and other specialty products made locally, which can be purchased through our Online Store. If you’re a business that’s interested in purchasing from our farm, you’ll need to Contact Us. Once approved, you’ll be added to the weekly availability list and can place orders with our special B2B pricing.  

We send a weekly newsletter for our B2B customers called “Fresh Picks” that shares what is in bloom each week. Orders are fulfilled based on a first-come, first-served basis for B2B customers in good standing. See our Business Policy page for more information about placing B2B orders.

At this time, we only work locally around Central Iowa. We do not ship any products. See our Business Policy page for locations we serve.

We may be able to offer a sample upon request from a customer, but availability isn't guaranteed. Contact us if you're looking for a sample of something.

We produce flowers within the seasons available to us. We try to be as accurate as possible when predicting availability, but our production is environmentally dependent. You can see our growing plan on our Catalog. If you're not seeing what you're looking for, Contact Us!

We sure do! You can get added to our "first dibs" Honey List by contacting us, or you can purchase online from our shop. Just a reminder that we do not ship products, so this offering is only for locals. 

 At this time, our farm is not open to the public for sales or visitors. As our home is located on the farm, we ask that you respect our privacy. We do offer curbside order pickups by pre-arranged appointment only. 

At this time, we do not sell retail flowers directly to the public. However, we can refer you to several area florists that purchase our local flowers. 

At this time, we are not booking appointments with local photographers. If that changes, we will release a calendar to arrange appointments and corresponding fees.  

At this time, our farm is not open to the public, so we are not hosting any events on our farm. We have exciting plans in place that may allow for special events in the future, but at this time we are solely focused on sustainably cultivating flowers for our customers.

 While we welcome customers picking up products from the farm, please note that pickups do not include a farm tour.  At this time, our farm is not open to the public. As our home is located on the farm, we ask that you respect our privacy. For established customers, we can discuss scheduling a separate appointment for a tour. Please contact us for availability. 

 No, we do not allow outside animals on our farm. As a working farm with our own animals to consider, outside animals—even if leashed—can create challenges. Please leave your pets at home. However, to comply with ADA regulations, we do allow Certified Service Animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities. (Please note that emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets do not qualify as Certified Service Animals under Iowa law.) 

No. If the time comes that hiring is necessary, we will work with local agencies and share about our job or contract postings on our website. 

We feel it is very important to give back to the community, and have several organizations we partner with. If you’d like us to consider donating to your event or charity, please fill out our Donation Request Form. If we feel it is a cause we can support, we will respond. Please understand that we receive many requests for donations, and cannot accept them all.  

At this time, due to responsibilities both on the farm and elsewhere, we are not able to offer mentorship opportunities to new flower farmers or beekeepers. If you're interested in getting started in one of these endeavors, contact us and we'll  direct you to some wonderful organizations that offer these types of opportunities. 

We do appreciate opportunities to share about life flower farming and beekeeping, but time is very limited due to responsibilities both on the farm and elsewhere. You can contact us and share the details on your speaking engagement, and we will assess whether your request can be accommodated.  Please understand that we receive many requests for speaking engagements, and cannot accept them all.
